Detection, identification and also pleasure or displeasure; memories of past events or places… All the pieces come together, sometimes whipping up a storm in our heads! Hirac Gurden invites you on an inner voyage to our neurons, to understand the multiple facets of how we perceive smells.
Hirac Gurden is Director of Neuroscientific Research at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). His studies relate to the perception of smells in our brain. He has been a guest on RFI, France Info, Canal+ and M6 to speak on the state of the art of brain research.
