Talk: THURSDAY MAY 18th, 2017 – 6.30 p.m. – Length: 1 ½ hrs
by Céline Ellena
A voyeur of fragrance, I aim to translate the world of smells around us into perfumes. A stroll between Montmartre and the Latin quarter, stop-off at Tang Frères, voyage into the Paris metro, or simple everyday gestures – life is a constant source of inspiration, but how to capture it in a bottle? I offer you a chance to discover our daily life through the eyes of your nose!
Born into a family of Grasse perfumers, Céline Ellena trained her nose to understand the language of perfume from an early age. After a foray into literature, during which she studied psychology and linguistics, she finally decided to follow in her father’s footsteps. A graduate of the ISIPCA Perfumery, Cosmetics & Food Flavors School in Paris, she worked for several international firms before starting her own business. Passionate about her work and gifted with a talent for writing, Céline takes part in numerous talks and contributes to various specialist publications.
